Well it was interesting. The morning club for our group ended up being in a neighborhood where people didn't know each other or trust each other much at all so we only had Murray's two kids and one 3 year old neighbor who was Indian American (as in, having parents who lived in India for much of their lives) so our two age groupings just worked together (eight of us and three adults on three kids. Talk about being overwhelming in numbers!) The afternoon "Peppermint College" was much harder because of our group only having four of us to work with 8 to 15 teens everyday and also because of that neighborhood taking a turn for the worse since the last time we were there. It was sort of frustrating to see a lot of the work from the last three years sort of be put on the shelf of time now that things are different, but I have a feeling that our involvement in that neighborhood is far from over.
Lots of other stuff was awesome - pretty much the entire trip. However, since I've only been home for three hours I'll save other stories for later. Just ask if you want to hear...or want pictures or something.
